Section 4 First Aid Measures

After skin contact

Immediate flush skin with plenty of water. Remove and isolate contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persist, get medical attention immediately. for minor skin contact, avoid spreading material on unaffected skin. Wash clothing separately before reuse.

After eye contact

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing of the eyes by separating the eyelids with fingers. Get medical advice.

After ingestion

If vomiting occurs naturally, have victim lean forward to reduce risk of aspiration. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband the substance. Seek immediate medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.

After inhalation

Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed, Get immediately medical attention.

Section 5 Fire Fighting Measures

Hazardous products of combustion

Can be released in case of fire: oxygen, sulfur dioxide, sulfur anhydride, etc.

Extinguishing method

Chemical,chemical foam,or alchol-resistant foam.

Special protective equipment

Wear full protective clothing, including helmet, self- contained positive pressure or pressure demand breathing apparatus, protective clothing and face mask.

Section 6 Accidental Release Measure

Personal protective measures

Ensure adequate ventilation. Remove all sources of ignition. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unless wearing appropriate protective clothing. Ventilate closed spaces before entering. Keep unnecessary personnel away.

Environmental protective measures

Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not allow material to be released to the environment without proper governmental permits.

Methods for taking in and cleaning up

Sweep up, then place into a suitable container for disposal. Avoid generating dusty conditions. Provide ventilation. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.

Section 7 Handling and Storage

Avoid contact with skin, eyes, mucous membranes and clothing. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear Suitable respiratory equipment if ingested. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols. Keep away from heat, sources of ignition, sparks or open flame.

Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Keep tightly closed until used. Keep away from fire and heat source. Sealed packaging. Store away from reducing agents, strong bases, heavy metallic salt, etc.

Section 8 Exposure Controls/Personal Protection

Engineering Controls

Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash and a safety shower facility. Use adequate ventilation to keep airborne concentrations low.

Respiratory protection

When workers are facing concentrations above the exposure limit they must use appropriate certified respirators.

Eye protection

Use safety glasses with side shields or safety goggles as mechanical barrier for prolonged exposure.

Hand Protection

Wear appropriate chem1ical resistant gloves.

Body protection

Use clean protective body-covering as needed to minimize contact with clothing and skin.
